Spitzer Automotive Chevrolet Northfield
As with all renovation projects, Tec began the engineering process for the Spitzer Chevrolet Northfield renovation by conducting an on-site assessment of the store to determine the mechanical and electrical requirements to complete the project.
Tec’s design provided for the location of major mechanical equipment—roof top air-handling, air conditioning, and heating units—and ductwork, controls and ancillary eqiupment. IR heaters were designed for the Service Department.
Electrial engineering included the design of electrical equipment—new luminaires for general illumination, exit and emergency egress illumination, branch circuit wiring, power receptables and power branch circuit wiring to mechanical equipment. Voice/data system pathways, fire alarm and security system modifications were included in the electrical scope of work.
This project was completed under a design/build delivery model.
